EQUIPMENT RETURN FOR CITY LEAGUE (CMSA) TEAMS
There will be two equipment return dates for city league equipment  (U10-U18). One will be towards the end of July, for those teams finished now or within the next week or so. The other will be towards the end of September, for those not finished until then. Dates will be emailed out once they are confirmed.

When you bring your gear back, you must bring it as a complete set - ie, no 'everything is here except...'.  This includes jersesys (except for those teams whose players purchased their jerseys - obviously those do not need be returned).

All jerseys must be brought back at one time, with the rest of the gear.  Jerseys dropped off at the office by parents directly will not get "credited" back to the player and thier jersey cheque will be cashed.  Even if you have finished all of your games by the July return date, do not bring back your gear until you have all of your jerseys back from your players - wait and bring it in September.

EQUIPMENT RETURN FOR HOUSE LEAGUE TEAMS
Equipment return for house league equipment  (U4-U8) was Monday June 29th.  If you missed this date, please meail Lisa Russell at duval500@shaw.ca to make arrangments to drop off your gear.

CVFC/EVSA HOME FIELDS/GYMS
For those who are new, here is some general information, as there are always a number of questions, suggestions (and complaints) about fields and gyms.  Fields and gyms are mostly controlled by the city and the city gives right of first refusal to the association they have on record.  The older zones have a number of the fields/gyms that they have used for many, many years before the club system came into being about six years ago.  Naturally, since they have right of first refusal, they keep them --- as does CVFC/EVSA for the ones we have.  We are working hard to try to get a foot in the door for CVFC for some of the larger, better facilities.  This can usually only be done by taking some of the "unwanted" times such as Friday and Saturday evenings; this gets CVFC visible and then if some other group gives up some of their better times in a particular facility or field, we might be offered them.  It's a slow process and happens over years, not overnight.   This is a high priority for the Club.  As well, be aware that the "better" gyms cost more money and can cost as  much as $12,000 for one gym for one indoor season.  We average approx 20 indoor teams needing practice times so you do the math.  Better gyms will impact your indoor registration fees.
Grass at fields is cut by the city on a rotating schedule. A particularly wet spring will impact how often they can get out to mow as they cannot take the large lawnmoewers on to the fields if they are wet as the fields would get damaged.
Fileds are lined on average once per month. More often if needed.
Please direct all other questions/concerns/comments regarding the conditions of the fields or goal netting to the Facilities Director.
